Emma Cerrato ’20 helped organize virtual tutoring between Exonian students and children in the New Hampshire/Massachusetts area as an adaptation of the ESSO Pen Pals club, which pairs community 4th-grade students with Exonians. After recruiting 30 Exonian tutors, she promoted the idea on Facebook community pages. Audrey Yin ’21 and Annie Smaldone ’21 are amongst the tutors. The hope is the virtual connections can continue as in-person tutoring relationships in the future.
